Wine GB East Awards & Tasting

Vineyards from across the region will be showcasing their best wines. Tastings from each vineyard, and entrance to the award winning Wyken Hall gardens (usually £6 per person) are included in the ticket prices.

The public tasting runs from 1pm – 4pm, although many vineyards will be offering tastings from 11am. As it is a Saturday, the famous Wyken Farmer’s Market is also running (9am – 1pm). Next to the gardens is the acclaimed Leaping Hare restaurant. If you would like to eat there, we suggest booking a table in advance, which you can do here. If you want something less formal, there will also be woodfired sourdough pizzas available, for which no reservation is needed.

In essence, this is a perfect day out where you will be able to sample the finest drink, and food, from the local area!
