At the Leaping Hare, we take the outbreak of Covid-19 very seriously. We are looking forward to welcoming you back but our prime aim is to keep customers and staff safe by following advice from the Government and scientists.

We hope that these changes will make you feel safe and secure when you come to Wyken. Please have a read before your visit.

 -All staff have been fully trained in anti COVID-19 safety requirements and have their temperature checked before starting their shifts.

-The Leaping Hare Restaurant is open for indoor & outdoor service, we are maintaining our socially distanced tables

-Wearing a face covering is now optional for staff and customers

-We have gone ‘cash free’. Contactless or credit card payments only.

-We will lay up in advance, including menus and cutlery, to avoid unnecessary handling. All staff members will wash their hands before and after serving a table or when crockery, cutlery and glassware are touched.

-We will provide hand sanitiser at the restaurant and shop

-The tables and chairs will be sanitised between customers.

-All wait staff will work at safe distances.

-We are now offering just one menu across the Leaping Hare with both restaurant and café style dishes

-We take bookings for lunch and dinner only, but you are welcome to join us for breakfast and afternoon tea without booking

-All these procedures are necessarily time consuming and with a reduced amount of staff, we hope that you bear with us if your service is not as speedy as you remember it.
